Important Dates in the LCSRA for Fall 2008
Season Dates:
· High School: Four Jamborees on Thursday, August 28th ; regular season games begin Tuesday, September 2nd
· KIDSPORTS: Jamboree on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (September 5-7); regular season games begin Saturday, September 15th, through 10/21; post-season tournament on 10/24,25 and 11/1,2
· City League: Season begins Sunday 9/7 through Wednesday, 11/12; Games played on Sunday through Wednesday evenings on artificial turf fields
Payroll closing dates

New Referees
Welcome to the Lane County Soccer Referee Association (LCSRA). By reading this you are taking the first step toward becoming a soccer referee.
Soccer refereeing is a great way to earn money and get exercise while making a critical a necessary contribution to the great game of soccer. Most referees will tell you that every game they work is interesting and they never stop learning.
LCSRA is the organization which trains and assigns referees for most of the youth, high school, and adult soccer games played in the south Willamette Valley. There is always a need for new referees. Through LCSRA you can receive training to grow as a referee and officiate increasingly challenging games as you gain experience.

About LCSRA
Welcome to the Lane County Soccer Referees’ Association.
Lane County Soccer Referees’ Association, LCSRA for short, was formed in the late 1970’s to service the rising game of soccer here in Eugene. As the years have gone by, LCSRA has grown and become one of the strongest associations in the state of Oregon. We are proud of who we are and take great strides to continue to be one of the best in the state.
Read through these information pages. Hopefully all your questions will be answered or explained. If not, please do not hesitate to ask any current member. Remember, we are a team, and must all work together whether on or off the playing field. We hope your refereeing experience will be positive and most of all FUN!!
